WOOD DALE, IL - Thomson, a Danaher Motion company and leading manufacturer of Linear Motion technology, is extending its partnership with Switzerland-based Bibus AG. The two companies will sign a contract that will confirm inter-company cooperation at the highest level of management within Europe.

The key component of this inter-company co-operation is to further increase the exchange of information between the after-sales service departments and the Managing Directors of all regional businesses involved. This will establish effective technical and strategic business cooperation. Thomson and Bibus have developed strong allegiances over the past few years.?

The core business of Bibus AG Switzerland comprises a wide range of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, drive technology, electrical engineering, electronic, and automation products. A particular strength of Bibus AG lies in its wide range of more than 250,000 products which are all kept in stock and available for its customers at any time. Bibus has been one of Thomson’s most important marketing and sales partners for over 20 years. This cooperation will now be extended to include the Bibus companies in Eastern Europe. Under the new contract affiliated Bibus companies in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Bulgaria will be named in addition to the parent company in Switzerland and the Austrian branch.

Regional Bibus companies will be provided with unrestricted access to the extensive Thomson linear motion product offering. For Thomson customers this agreement paves the way to an even more sophisticated level of onsite expertise.
