WOOD DALE, IL - The new MovoZ ZB underlines Danaher
Motion’s commitment to providing industry with the broadest and most
cost effective range of linear motion products. Manufactured in Sweden,
the MovoZ ZB industrial lifting actuator has been specifically designed
for dynamic manufacturing applications where a long, low maintenance
life is essential.
Reliability, accuracy and speed are product selection criteria
that will be familiar to every engineer. So Danaher’s design team have
included these specific attributes in the new MovoZ ZB industrial
lifting actuator. The MovoZ ZB uses a belt drive and ball guide along a Z
axis which can withstand a high side load capacity while maintaining
high speed movement, up to 2.5 m/s, thanks to the low inertia of the
moving parts. There is no slippage from the belt drive and the product
claims almost silent operation; something which is of increasing
importance in today environmentally aware workplace.
By using a belt drive and ball guides the MovoZ ZB offers a high
degree or reliability while flexibility is ensured due to a stoke
length of 2.5 meters and a load capacity of 500N. Repeatability of +/-
0.1 mm and a resolution of 0.2 mm confirm an accuracy which is
maintained in the most demanding applications.
Applications where the MovoZ ZB is being widely specified
include the packaging and automation market sectors. Machines builders
that are producing assembly lines, robot cells or special purpose
machines are using the MovoZ ZB extensively. Palletizing, handling, and
pick-and-place equipment is another area where the flexibility, load
handling characteristics and speed of the MovoZ ZB have been clearly
